Tangible Marketing Reaching a Highly Qualified Clientele
Combining traditional and digital media, while leveraging the Sotheby’s International Realty brand and tools, I am able to deliver high-quality, informative content across multiple platforms reaching serious home buyers.
My listings are distributed around the globe through Sotheby’s relationships with very significant media companies and real estate focused websites such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal,
Architectural Digest, Google, and Facebook.
These relationships offer a unique advantage as clients' homes are presented to a highly qualified regional, national, and global clientele. More than half of the visits to the Sotheby's International Realty web site are from outside the United States.
Interactive, social media reaches buyers through Instagram,
Facebook, Apple TV, Google, and YouTube. The Sotheby’s International Realty’s YouTube channel has over 200,000
subscribers with more video views than any other real estate brand.
What Has Been My Experience?
About half of the showings I had for listings in the
Stafford area were with people living outside of Oregon. Examples that come quickly to mind - A family from Vietnam that owns an international,
organic food business seeking acreage property closer to family members living
in Portland, Seattle, and New York. Several
visitors from China looking for a home near their children’s school. A Japanese businessman that was expanding his
business. An American family living in
Amsterdam that was relocating to Oregon for work; same with a family living in England. The greatest number of out of state buyers
seem to come from California – either for job relocation or a lifestyle change. Another common attraction for foreign
buyers is making an investment outside of their home country.
It turns out, with 1000+ Sotheby’s brokerages in over 70
countries, it is common for folks to use the web site of the brand they know that
has offices everywhere and search for homes. If you were moving to another state, or to another country, you might do the same.
